Research OUTPUT & PROJECTS
- In the Autumn of 2024, we organised a 'Collective Reflection' in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, about the role and impact that musicians can have on society. This event focused on climate change and its social consequences, combining a panel discussion and a Design Thinking workshop. These reflections aim to develop innovative approaches for artists to catalyse positive change, reinforcing their legitimacy and resilience. More information on this project can be found here (in French).
- In July 2024, we presented elements of research on the social role that Arthur Henry's musical project Sampling the World plays at the Montreux Jazz Festival. The text of our presentation is available following this link (in French).
- Executive summary of the academic research Julien Fehlmann produced on the evaluation landscape of music projects with a social aim as part of the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) Conflict & Fragility Management at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
